Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. I can only hope that everyone else had as good a time as we did! The only thing that would have made it better was it Rustin could have been here. But he had a great time in New York City, I'm sure, with Helen and her girls there for the holiday. But here's a few pics of our weekend.

Here we are just chillin' after the big Thanksgiving feast. We ate WAY too much but it was so good.
Ryan hates having his picture taken but we snuck this one in! haha We were glad he was here with us. Everyone played the Wii that Danica and Cody brought with them. They had fun playing tennis, baseball, golf, and other games on it. Fun times!
Taralee and Trace were SO tired. They got to Arizona about 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning. They went to breakfast with some of Trace's family and then came to Show Low about 10:00 a.m. Poor kids were worn out. But they were troopers and ate lunch with us anyway! We were so excited to see Brody. He has grown so much and is so handsome!
Danica and Cody got here Wednesday night about 9:00 or so. We were glad to have them with us for a few days. She put a craft project together for us to work on. Cute little Santa and reindeer made out of tiny clay pots. They turned out so cute. Danica is one crafty girl!Here we are working on another of Danica's projects. She made a quilt and we tied it off so she could give it as a Christmas gift. It turned out really nice. She did a good job.Trace put my Christmas tree up for me. I was so glad for his help. We took a couple pictures in front of it. This was before we got it decorated though.

We went to Holbrook the day after Thanksgiving to eat dinner with the Reidheads. It was Doy's 74th birthday. Happy Birthday!!! We took a couple pictures there. This is Jim's dad holding Brody and Mike's grandson (Kamron's baby) Diesel. They were born 2 days apart. Such cute little boys! Karalyn made some rope-covered vases for Christmas gifts. They turned out really cute. We bought Brody's Christmas present while he was here and gave it to him since they probably can't come for Christmas this year. He loved this little bouncer chair. It has toys all around the little chair and he can use his legs to bounce up and down. He got pretty rambuntious in it but I'm sure he'll learn to use it more after he sits in a while.
Last few pictures we took before the weekend ended. Danica and Cody helped us finish decorating the tree before they left Sunday evening. Taralee and Trace and Brody went to Heber on Saturday morning to spend a couple days with his family. We missed having them with us when they left. They bring a lot of fun to the house when they are here.

We got some Christmas shopping done while everyone was here, too. We even got up at 4 a.m. on Friday morning to do the early-morning trip to the stores that opened at the crack of dawn. That was fun. We shopped for several hours and then came home completely worn out! But we had a great time. We love our family and were so happy to spend time with them.
