7 Random Things

Well, here goes nothing....

1. I am so thankful to be healthy. I was sick this week for two days and I hated every minute of it. It sure makes me think of people who have real health problems and makes me be more thankful for my health and for my family's health. It is such a blessing.

2. I like to tell a good joke and love to laugh. My kids (mainly Danica) have always made fun of me because I laugh so loud. Guess what. Now Danica laughs as loud or louder than I do. I LOVE it. Nothing better than a good hard laugh that makes tears run down your cheeks. If I have a day that I laugh that hard, then that is a GOOD day!

3. I'm not very good at throwing parties. Never have been. Maybe it's because I'm too worried about cleaning up the mess or something. Who knows. I have fun once the party starts but I'm just not that good at it.

4. I learn something from my kids and Jim almost every day. They are the best part of my life and everyday I am thankful for them. They are what gives me the most happiness.

5. I love to shop for new clothes. I try to look for the best bargains but I do like to wear a new outfit to work. Makes me feel good which is kind of stupid, I guess. Clothes can't really do anything for you, can they? Good thing I have them though, or it would be a scary sight. ;o) If I had tons of money, I'd take my kids on the biggest shopping spree and buy them fun things that I've never been able to buy for them. New clothes, fun toys, games, blah blah blah. Anything would be fun. Just one day to spend as much as we wanted. It's fun to dream about anyway...

6. Jim is my best friend. I miss him when I'm at work and wish he worked in Show Low still so we could go to lunch occasionally or meet at home for lunch. He always says positive things to me and makes me happy and feel good.

7. I love Christmas. It's always been my favorite time of year. I love the lights, decorations, giving gifts, being with family, remembering what Christmas is really about, the birth of our Savior. That is the most wonderful gift of all.

I tag Rustin, Trace, Cody, Jim, and Nicole.....

Oh that was a good post! I love you mom. And I think you are good at throwing parties. Everyone always feels welcome, there is ALWAYS plenty of food, and there are always TONS of laughs. I think that is what makes a good party!
A shopping spree would be fun...wouldn't it? ha ha. Thanks for including me in that day!
I'll tell trace to do this one.

PS. I'm still trying to figure out the picture thing. I don't know what went wrong.

Heck I love your parties or just being at home! It is always so much fun and inviting and I feel 10 lbs heavier once I leave! And it is true, my laugh is loud. I had it coming I guess. Like Cody says, "You make my ears bleed!" (talking about me of course!)haha.
