Weekend campout

We went on a little camping trip over the weekend. Sure was nice and relaxing. Here's Jim partaking of a home cooked breakfast. Yummy!

So of course, since I got a picture of Jim at breakfast-time, he had to do the same. Here I am in my famous robe. Nice...
After breakfast we looked out the door and saw something across the meadow. It looked all white. Not sure what it was at this point.
Then, it kept getting closer and closer and we realized it was a herd of sheep. Hundreds of them.
They came almost right up to our camping spot. There was certainly plenty of luscious green grass for them to graze in. What an amazing view we had from our front door. I love it here in the mountains of Arizona.
The second night we stayed in another spot. Not as green and lush but pretty, nonetheless. Check out the view from where we stayed. It was a little warmer in this area. I actually prefer a few more pine trees myself.
We stopped on the way home and took this beautiful picture. What a site. We saw some pretty country in the few hours we were on the road. Everything is so green from the monsoons we've been having. And you can see the clouds were building up for another rain!
That's the pictures of our little outing. I'll post the pictures of Chelsi's recital next time.

Wow that is beautiful! I really do love the robe and the cougar hoops shirt! I have been looking for that! haha. Glad you had fun. Did dad do the shaving of the sheep? Or did he name one of them Buttercup?

I know Trace is going to love that picture of you in your nightgown. ha ha.
Those White Mountains are sure beautiful. I want to go camping. I'm jealous. I can't believe there were that many sheeps up there. Looks like you had fun.

Sure looks like the country between McCamey and Rankin huh?
Did we have any mutton to eat?
Glad you had a good weekend.

To answer your question, GG,...NO we did NOT have any mutton. I prefer chicken or beef, thank you very much!
