It seems like whenever Rustin gets a few days to come home, he has to do some studying. But he always fits in time for family and friends, which is very important to him!
Rustin doesn't get to come home very much these days. We sure miss him. Since last Christmas, he came home for a few days during spring break, and then again in October for a wedding. He's had another busy year in dental school and has tried to keep his focus on his schooling--although I am pretty sure he finds plenty of time to fit in a social life, from the looks of the pictures on his blog. :) Rustin doesn't miss out on too many opportunities and for that I'm grateful. He's living his dream and making every minute count. He makes his parents "proud" and I can honestly say he is a blessing in our lives.
Rustin, we hope you have an amazing birthday and we're looking forward to having you home for Christmas on a few weeks. I hope you are looking forward to it as well. We LOVE you!

It makes me sad that we have taken only 1 picture together all year! I'm so excited to come home. I really can't wait to be in Show Low, down home, where they know me by name and treat me like family...probably cuz I'm related to them or something. It's going to be here sooner than I realize! I love you mom and dad, too!
