Camping--we love it

Well, with school starting, we decided to take one last opportunity to go the mountains and relax while camping for a couple days. It was a bit chilly up at Greens Peak, but totally enjoyable. We are campers at heart and the only thing that would have made this trip better is if our kids could have camped with us. One of these days (years?) maybe we can all camp together again. We sure hope so anyway.

Jim built us a fire after the fog moved it. It was so weird to see the fog float in across the meadow and then we could no longer see Greens Peak. But the fire felt good. We even roasted a few marshmallows. They were good even if they were mini marshmallows. I guess I left the big ones at home!

I haven't seen the area so green in quite a few years. There were flowers everywhere and we enjoyed going for a walk and taking a few pictures of all the beauty. Of course, the pictures don't do it justice.
