City Award

The City had an awards banquet for all its employees tonight. We went, of course. It was a nice event. Lots of people attended, maybe around 200 or so. Anyway, all the department heads gave awards and Ann presented me with this. It's a silver clock with a picture frame. It says, "In appreciation of your dedication, cheerful attitude, integrity, and professionalism as you serve the city council, staff, and citizens of Show Low." It was nice of her to do that for me. As you can see I put a picture of Brody and I in it. haha Most of my pictures are landscape instead of portrait so I had a hard time finding anything that was tall instead of wide to fit in it. But for now this will have to do! As usual, there is a huge glare from my glasses. oh well, get used to that! I wore the dress I wore to Danica's wedding but I wore a turquoise colored undershirt with it. Then I wore my Australian opal jewelry which matched pretty nicely. Jim looked sharp in his suit and new shirt and tie Danica and I picked out for him, but he took it off before I got any pictures. So one picture is all you get!
