Utah family

I took a few pics on our last trip to Utah, but I never posted them. Imagine that! haha I love to capture everything with my camera, so then I feel like I need to share it onmy blog and with whoever decides to read it!
We made a trip to the place where Jim and I actually met 31 years ago this month! It was the old mental hospital in Provo. haha (OK, just to clarify, Jim was NOT a patient there!) --and neither was I.
Anyway, back in the day, several church family home evening groups in our ward planned to go to the mental hospital where they had a haunted house which was run by some of the "patients." CREEPY. Anyway, it looks beautiful in the daylight as you can see. We had never been back there since that time. But we have good memories and a good story about going through this one little area and Jim was behind me. There were all kinds of creepy things in that place and when we came out the door on other side, I turned around to tell Jim how scary that was. Much to my surprise, it wasn't Jim's hand on my shoulder. It was some little creepy looking hunch back "patient" and I, of course, let out a scream like no other. Jim obviously was standing close enough by to hear and watch the whole thing. He laughed until I thought he was going to fall over. hahaha Anyway, that's when he first fell in love with me! :) It's true, just ask him! Anyway, the place is so pretty, especially in the daytime. It looks kind of like an old castle.

Here's Brody jumping off a big rock. This boy has no fear!

Cute little family.
Sitting in the ampitheater.

Mr. Fearless:

Here's the door that we walked out of 31 years ago and I had the little guy holding onto my shoulder when all the while I thought it was Jim. Funny, Jim still gets a kick when he thinks about it.

There sure is some pretty scenery in Provo Canyon. The colors are beautiful there in the fall.
Plus there is already snow up in the higher mountains!
Brody loved feeding the ducks and geese. He was not afraid of them at all, even after one of them pecked his fingers while trying to get to the bread.
The drive home to Arizona has some pretty moments. This is one of the natural arches close to Moab.

Brody loves his breakfast cereal!

Fergie and Roxie had so much fun playing. Two cute little dogs! We had fun watching them. They hardly rested the whole time we were there.

Oh boy the ducks are nearly as big as Brody! Those are cute! Thanks for posting.

We are praying for little Cole and hope that everything is good news. Love you!

I never heard the story of how you met...so cute. It really is pretty there almost makes me want to move but then I just have to think about "SNOW" and I change my mind.
Brody is such a cute little guy and the shot of him jumping off the rock is scary cute.
Glad you married and Reidhead that doesn't mind traveling. Teele will travel to a roping and that's it. If one of my kids moved away I would never get to see them and that's the truth. My sister has lived in Texas for 21 years and I haven't seen her once..sad ha? So when I see these young families getting out and traveling it makes me happy cause they are making memories.
