- Welcome to our blog! Jim and I have been empty-nesters for a couple years now and have made the adjustment quite nicely. It was definitely an adjustment though. We certainly miss the hub-bub of kids coming and going but weseem to stay busy, nonetheless. Life is good for the most part and we definitely look forward to visits from our four kids. We love them all and they are the bright spot in our lives for sure. Just recently we entered a new phase of life....grandchildren. Taralee and Trace had our first and we are so proud! It's definitely a fun time and we'll be glad when his parents move him back to Arizona!

For some reason this picture won't show up on my computer. I do miss arizona though. The White Mountains are so pretty. We got a little sheet of snow today. Can you believe it? I'm not ready for winter? Where did fall go?
