Busy Summer

We had a crazy, busy summer. It started off with Rustin's graduation from Arizona State University. We are very proud of Rustin and his accomplishments. He worked so hard going to school and working two jobs most of the time to support himself and still had grades good enough to get into dental school! YEA for Rustin!!!

June 1st was Danica's big wedding day. She married Cody Claridge. We had so much fun planning that and getting to visit with all the family that came for the big event.

In mid-June, we met some of the Gaines family in Ruidoso, New Mexico. As always we had some huge laughs and a great time. One example: We were all sitting around the little pond where we were staying and Ryan was laying across this brick wall all stretched out on his stomach. Gary was standing there by this tree and he walked over to Ryan. As he was going down to "sit" on Ryan's back, Gary said, "Need your back popped, Ryan?" Then when Gary sat down on Ryan's back, apparently the pressure was a bit much, and Ryan farted REALLY loud. We all laughed so hard. I think the funniest thing about the whole deal was how hard Gary laughed. I haven't seen him laugh that hard in a long time. He had tears running down his face. We all did for that matter. It was funny and is probably one of those stories where you needed to be there to get the full effect, but it was a knee slapper for sure! Here are some pics of our trip.
On July 1, we had our first grandbaby. Brody Trace Porter. You've already seen some pictures I posted of him. But I added a few more of my favorites.
