Survey

I asked Jim to fill out this survey and I was actually surprised that he did it. I guess I'll go ahead and post his answers. He said if he knew I was going to post it, his answers could have been better. Whatever that means!!! Anyway, if you have time.....enjoy! Oh, and I TAG Cody and Trace to do this for Taralee and Danica!!!!

1. How did you meet your wife?
I met her at a nut house. I was there with some friends, she was standing in front of me. We were at a haunted house fundraiser for the nut house.

2. What was your first impression of her?
I thought she had pretty eyes, nice figure, pretty hair, and a cool laugh and accent.

3. What was she wearing?
A jacket, blouse, pants

4. Describe her eyes.
Grayish/blue

5. How much does she weigh?

6. What size pants does she wear?

9. When she walks in the room, what do you think when you see her?
Oh my- what have I done wrong now, what is she going to chew me out for this time and what a lucky man I am to have her in my life.

11. Where did you go on your first date?
To a BYU fireside in the Marriot center

12. What characteristics drew you to her?
Her friendliness, good looks, hair, and accent.

13. Tell me something special about her that NOBODY else knows.
She sleeps with four pillows

14. Does she have any birth marks, anything that stands out, physically? One big birth mark on her left leg

15. When people meet her, what is their general impression?
Your wife is so pretty.

The list is too long. Cinnamon rolls, laughing, cleaning, no clutter, repairing things, computers.

17. What does she wish she can change about herself?
Nothing, she’s perfect.

18. If she could go anywhere on vacation, where would she go?
Utah – wherever Brody is

Clutter, messes in the house, people that ignore her when she talks to them, telemarketers, paying the bills

Sleep, watch TV, travel, play with her puppy

Raising four outstanding kids

Marrying her husband

25. Tell me how she is as a mother.
She is in constant contact with her kids guiding, listening, and helping them as needed individually. They know she loves them dearly.

26. When she gets mad, what does she do?
it’s ugly. Slams doors, gives the silent treatment, cries, says things under her breath that I can’t understand.

27. When you look into her eyes - what do you see?
A beautiful woman, friend, and helpmate.

28. Tell me about her talents. What is she great at?
Computers, piano, cleaning, repairing things, loving her kids, loving the Lord.

29. Does she have any bad habits?
Every once in a while she says a bad word and drinks Dr. Pepper and Oreos when she’s on a diet.

Peach

32. If you could change one thing about her - what would it be?
Don’t stress over the small things

Not particularly

Her tender loving care that she shows me.

Amazing

I’m already there, in Show Low.

Comedy, Goldie Hawn with bigger boobs

40. If someone could get inside your head, and see your wife the way you have seen her for the last 17 years, what would they see through your eyes? i.e. - is she challenging? Is she easy to be with?
She is pure joy to be around most of the time.

41. Besides the birth of your children and your wedding day, Describe your top 10 most memorable moments with your wife, and why they're memorable.
Going to Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, Rocky Point with just the two of us, camping at Green’s Peak last fall, working together to build a new closet, playing with Brody and Roxie, her supporting me through the trials of Vernon, her clogging, her laughing at me when I slit my leg open one night or had other injuries, and traveling with her to visit family

42. What's the hardest part about being married to her?
Trying to live up to her expectations and example.

43. What does she struggle with?
Putting up with me.

44. How does she treat you?
Like a King.

45. Do you have a nickname for her? A Pet name?
Texas Teapot, Little D

46. What does she call you, and why?
Depends on her mood.

47. Does anything else have special meaning to just the two of you?
Our kids and dogs, our house, and our remodeling projects. We like Rocky Point and just relaxing down there.

48. Does she do anything quirky?
She can’t throw things out the window of a moving car. She wears an ugly purple head band to wash her face. She showers every night for about 30 seconds. She has a favorite red Christmas outfit. She laughs like none other.

49. What is something you've always wanted to do for your wife but couldn't?
Give her all the money she needs so she won’t have to work or worry about paying bills.

50. What do you think she is incapable of?
committing a serious crime

Tamra that was so nice to read and I wanted to tell Jim what a beautiful tribute to you...the one he wrote for Mother's Day. It was so sweet and loving of him.
I did not know you had a large birth mark on your left leg! I do too! Mine is red in color and on my left thigh. That's kind of strange that you have one too. Back in the day of the Salem Witch hunts you and I would have either been burned at the stake or had a huge rocks tied around us and thrown in the river because of our birth marks. LOL :)

absolutely hilarious! I will go into detail later because i'm at work but man some of those are so true! I love you mom. Excellent answers dad! i think cody thinks the same things sometimes.

Those answers were perfect. Mom to a T! I loved reading it. I like the part that said, "anywhere Brody is!" ha ha.

Oh and I get mad the EXACT same way. Mumble things under my breath and storm around slamming doors and cabinets...whatever. I am getting a little better though.
