BEWARE--Utah picture overload

We went to Utah over the long Memorial Day weekend and had such a good time. We enjoyed seeing Taralee and Trace and visiting with them. And we sure enjoyed playing with Brody. He is SO MUCH FUN! That little boy has more personality in his little pinky than lots of people have in their whole body! haha

We went out to eat breakfast at Magleby's one morning. French toast. Wow, it was delicious. I love their homemade syrup and so did Brody!

We went to the dinosaur museum. Brody loves dinosaurs. He took it all in. Then we went to see a little 3-D movie. He loved it all.

Playing in the sand/erosion exhibit. Brody liked to play in it. Apparently, so did his momma and daddy!

We went to Cabelas and enjoyed seeing the wildlife mounts. Brody really like the elk and the bears. He saw a snake and a moose and knew right what they were, too. He can name nearly all of the animals. I love this picture of him. You can just see the onery-ness in his eyes. haha It makes me laugh.

One of Brody's favorite thing is to jump on the mattress in the basement. Every morning, he'll say "jumping" and wants to go downstairs. He would tap his leg and say "c'mon Nana. c'mon Grampa." So cute. Then he wants to jump and play ring around the rosies, too. I was sitting on the big exercise ball on top of the mattress and he ran over and pushed me right off of it. Then he laughed and laughed.

On Saturday, we drove on the Mt. Nebo loop and boy was it pretty up there. There is sure some pretty country in Utah. We love it there. But it was certainly COLD! There was still snow in lots of places and some of the aspens haven't even leafed out yet. Brody said "cold" and that he wanted to be back in the "tar." haha Grampa wrapped him in his blanket but he was still cold!

Check out the beautiful scenery.

Here is a picture of Provo valley and Utah Lake. Sure was a pretty view.

We saw lots of little waterfalls and there was water running everywhere. It was ice cold water, too!

We took some time on Monday morning to get some family pictures. They turned out pretty good.

Jim and I in front of Y mountain.

Brody feeding the duckss on the BYU campus. Such a pretty place. The gardens are all just beautiful and immaculately groomed.

Monday evening, Jared and Shiloh invited us over to their house for hamburgers and visiting. We had a nice time spending time with them. The kids played ball, jumped on the trampoline, and played with lots of toys. I didn't get many pictures there though. We were having too much fun to mess with the camera I guess. I always miss the good shots anyway.

Goodbyes are always hard. Brody gave us hugs and told us Bye. Taralee had left for school and Trace had just gotten home from school. So we got to spend Tuesday morning with Brody. He's quite the entertainer!

Yeah, I hate the red hair. It looks so orange. Next trip to the store i'm buying some brown dye. mercy. Gray is even better than orange, unless it's on Brody. It looks great on that little guy!!!
