...or at least that's what they are saying. It has definitely been quite a week of storms we've had here in Arizona. Snowed Tuesday, Wed, and then rained most of Thursday melting off a lot of the snow we had already received which was maybe 10 inches or so, give or take. Thursday night Danica was going stir crazy so she went out to shovel the driveway. Well, it was mostly snow thoroughly soaked with rain, so it was heavy and impossible to shovel. But she had fun trying. Then Thursday night around midnight the wind and rain quit and it started snowing. By Friday morning we had about a foot of snow on the ground. So Jim and Danica got to shovel AGAIN! I was at work, luckily! By this Friday afternoon, we've got about 20 inches on the ground.
And to top it all off, when we looked out the window this morning, there was a tree fallen in our yard, the same one that lost a branch in the last storm a few weeks ago. Now the whole thing fell and smashed our fence and fell into the yard. Great, now we get to fix that. The snow is pretty though. We've had fun watching it and are so thankful for the moisture. Arizona was in huge need of some moisture, that's for sure!
Here's Danica shoveling the snow off the driveway on Thursday night. The next picture is the driveway the next morning when we woke up. A lot of good it did to shovel! Danica enjoyed it though, sore back and all!

Burr! But it's so pretty. So sorry about the tree and the fence. I'm glad it didn't come down on the house. We lost a lot of shingles and are pretty muddy but it was worth it cause like you said arizona needed moisture in the worst way. Love all your photos, Danice looks cute hiding in the tree.
That old cold stuff sure is pretty! I mess seasons so much. Warm, hot, hotter & hotter than . . you get the idea just don't count either. I'd even be willing to shovel to have some snow. Oh well, the rain has been great, inspite of the wind damage. It did make for a wonderfully beautiful morning.
WOW! That's a lot of snow!!!! It's nice getting to see all we hear about! Thanks! The bumbo is wonderful huh? We are getting a new baby real soon! yay!
Thanks for the pictures. I would post some from our area but...there is nothing to look at. Hehe:)
It was eerie the other night looking out my front window and seeing nothing moving on the freeway or the tracks. There was not a truck or train in sight. Amazing what we get used to.
I love all the pictures, it is very pretty. Danica looks so cute!
