Weekend

We had a nice weekend and some good laughs, which is not unusual for this family! Good thing I can laugh occasionally or life would be pretty stinky a fair amount of the time.

Anyway, Saturday we decided to go to Arby's and get a sandwich and then bring it home to eat it. So we did that. I ordered my typical Market Fresh Turkey and Swiss and Jim got a beef and cheddar with bacon. So we got home and opened our sandwiches and mine was the wrong thing. Turkey club with bacon and piles of yucky mayonnaise, etc. Anyway, it was not what I wanted. I know, I'm spoiled, but whatever. So I told Jim just to eat his and he could eat mine later or something. Well, after he ate his, he said, let's go take this back and get what you wanted. So we got in the truck and drove back to Arby's. Drove through the drive-through and dad told them the situation. So they said pull up and we'll get you the right order. Which we did. As we drove off, I opened it up to start eating it and noticed it was BURNED!!! I didn't say anything. I just started eating it and laughing. (They toast the inside of this type of sandwich and then put on the mustard, meat, cheese, etc. It is GOOD when it's toasted but I had never gotten one that was burned before.) I showed it to Jim and he couldn't believe it. I think it had been on the grill since the first time we ordered the stupid sandwich and they had forgotten about it. Anyway, he turned around, went back through the drive-through window and told the guy, "hey, we aren't difficult people normally but this sandwich you gave us is burned." The guy said "Pull on around." grrrr Anyway, it was so embarrassing. I was just going to eat the stupid thing at this point but Jim was determined to get me what I wanted. They said, "You can keep that sandwich if you want it and here is a new one." Jim said, "WE don't want it!" haha I laughed all the way home. It was so funny to me. They tried to give us our money back but Jim said, "no, just keep it. We just want a sandwich we can eat." Anyway, that was my funny story from the weekend.

Here's a couple pictures of Ryan and his boat. He finally got it fixed and he is ready to go to the lake. It is a jet boat and it goes fast! what a surprise but it should be a lot of fun for him.

And the last bit of weekend news, we finally sold the last puppy!! YEA! We are so glad about that.

Mom I am just laughing at your story. That is pretty funny. You guys are turning into Nanny and Granddaddy. Good luck to us kids! jk. I'm glad you finally got the right sandwich. A Jet boat...does that really sound safe?

Congrats on selling the puppy now you can have food in your cupboards for the "renters".

Mom- do you think it's time for a blog spring clean-up? I think I'll change your colors today.
That's funny about the sandwhich. Picky, Picky!! ha ha. jk.
Nice boat Ry-Ry. Remember when we were with Kameron and almost flipped it? And I was the only one smart enough to put a life jacket on.

Mom,
I'm working on your blog colors. I think I'm going to change it again and work on a new header. I'm not sure if I like the yellow gold. What do you think? I just thought you needed a spring makeover.
Maybe Danica should do it. She's better.
