Happy Father's Day...

to the best daddy I could have ever asked for! I just wanted to put up a few pictures for old time sakes for my dad. Here's a family picture with his mother, daddy, sister and brother probably around 1943. Not exactly sure about the date but I think it is a neat picture.

Here is daddy when he was in the navy. Such a handsome young lad! I love this picture of him.

This is the only "real" family picture I have when we kids were growing up. I imagine it was taken around 1965 or 66. My dad had a great looking family! and he was a great dad to us all.

Daddy worked for Gulf Oil/Warren Petroleum for years and years. Thes next two pictures were taken at a company awards banquet he attended, I believe.
This was taken in Abilene in 2006. Still looks the same, just a bit more distinguished and mature!
Taken in Ruidoso in 2006. He always enjoys watching a good football game!
Most recent picture taken in Odessa in May.
I just wanted to tell my daddy how much I love him and appreciate all that he taught me. He was such a great example of how to fix things, not say curse words, patience, and hard work. I think I learned a few of these things from him. Some I learned better than others. Daddy has always been a man of few words but when he speaks it is usually something very important that you better listen and pay attention to or something that is pretty witty. He has a great sense of humor and taught me to laugh at life very early in my childhood! Thanks, Daddy, and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Grandaddy is one handsome guy! I've always thought that. He is a wonderful man...with great beliefs and patience. His patience abilities have always amazed me. If only I could have inherited just a LITTLE bit of it. I love Grandaddy!!
