This weekend Brody came to stay with us. He was in Heber most of the week with the Porters so Jim went and picked him up after work on Friday to spend some time with us. Wow. What a busy little boy. He doesn't miss out on a thing and notices everything that is going on and wants to be right in the middle of whatever is going on.
He slept real good Friday night and by 7:00 Saturday morning he was ready to get out and play. We woke Grandpa up because I had gone out on the deck with Brody and he heard and saw the chickens and he couldn't wait to get down there closer to see them. So he and Grandpa went out to the "barnyard" in their pj's to see all the animals. Brody LOVEd it! He liked the chickens and roosters the best because they made noise. The rabbits were not that impressive to him I guess!

He really studied this chicken although he wasn't that excited about touching it.

Saturday afternoon was really warm outside so we put his swimsuit on and he played in the sprinklers and with the water hose. He walked over to this bucket that we put water in and he splashed in it and said "agua" which means water in Spanish. His babysitter teaches him Spanish words. I thought that was funny.

Brody was fascinated by the acorns that are falling off the tree everywhere. What a mess but he loved to pick them up and throw them.

After it cooled off on Saturday, we walked down the street to the park. He had fun climbing all over the toys there. He slid on the slide a few times but he mainly liked to run around on the little platform where the slides go down from.

Brody found a candy dish at the house and found a little dum dum sucker in it and he was so excited about it. He LOVED that sucker. It was so funny. You'd have thought it was the best thing he had ever eaten!

Sunday morning before church, he got his sippy cup in the fridge and then sat down on the ledge to drink his milk. It was so cute!
We had so much fun having Brody with us for a few days. Believe me, we are worn out! That boy kept us so busy! It was the best Grandparent's Day ever for us! Thank you Taralee and Trace for sharing him with us. He's such a good and happy little boy. We loved every minute of having him with us!

I love all the pictures. Every single one of them. The ones with him and the chickens are Trace's favorite. We also laughed at the one of him sitting on the edge of the fridge. He's such a little nut!
I'm glad you guys had fun with him. He's a fun little boy...that's for sure. I'll be glad to have him back this week! :) I'm glad I could "share" him with you guys though.
Talk about cute!!! You captured some good ones!! Grandkids are the best and I am so glad you are getting to find that out!! I know about the tired thing! I'm feeling it today as we had one this weekend also!
