More pictures of "the Project"

Well, we worked all day again on the construction project. We're sure learning a lot and getting pretty handy at doing this stuff. ;o)



I know one thing, though. We're getting too old for this kind of stuff. I don't know how my mother and daddy remodeled or added onto every house they ever owned for years and years. That was kind of their hobby I guess. Maybe if we do it enough, we'll learn to like it but somehow I kind of doubt it! haha



Jim got all the texturing done today except for the ceiling and the small wall by our bedroom door. He'll get it done while I'm gone I imagine. I have to go to Tucson for 3 days. Not too excited but guess I have to go.



I did some painting today. I painted our small bathroom. It looks much better. Then I painted two and a half walls in Danica's old room, the new closet. Once we knock out the small closet that she used to use and finish sanding the wall Jim textured, then I can finish painting in there. It looks real pretty I think. I painted it a green color. I don't know if you'll be able to tell the color on the pictures or not but here they are. The first picture made me laugh hysterically. Jim had sheetrock dust all over himself. I had to get a picture of it. Just imagine...that same dust is all over my house. What a disaster.

The second and third pics are of our bathroom. You can't really tell the color that much but I really like it.

The last pic I took in the bedroom to show you the color but I don't think it shows up all that much. Wish us luck that we can finish up soon. We're getting tired of working on it every night and weekend. Next weekend we're going on our annual fall campout, so hopefully we make some good progress this coming week.
