We went to the valley this weekend and spent time with Taralee, Trace, Brody, Danica and Cody. Ryan went with us and we had a great time. Friday night when we got there, we met Taralee and Trace and they let us keep Brody with us Friday night. Trace's dad got them a hotel room where the Porters were staying so that was nice for them.It was good because they were able to get some good sleep and we enjoyed having him with us. He woke up early Sat morning and got in bed with us and head butted Jim and just got real silly. It was fun. After we all got up and dressed, we spent the day just running around and having fun. That evening we went to Trace's little brother's football game. They won and took the state championship crown which was cool for the Heber team. They played so good. We mostly watched Brody the whole game though. He kept us all entertained. We sat down close to the end zone and he ran around on the track and had a good old time until he was completely worn out. Jim finally got him to sleep and he slept on the bleachers for an hour or so. We got him a little red/black sweatsuit with a football on the front of it. He looked so cute in it.

The other pictures are just of the family at Danica's house while we were chilling out this morning. Danica and Cody both had to be to work around noon so we all left about the same time. That's always the saddest part of the trip. But we had a great weekend and enjoyed being together. We just wished that Rustin had been with us. He'll be home next month for a few days though so that will be good!

Isn't Danica's house decorated so cute? She is so talented and we appreciate Danica and Cody letting us stay with them. It was wall to wall beds last night as Taralee and all stayed there, too. Cozy is an understatement. haha

What a fun weekend! I am so amazed when I see your kids, I really don't think I would recognize them after all these years, except Rustin. I did see pics of him and could see the little boy we used to see at church.

Everyone recognizes my girls, even when they haven't seen them in years. Rob did change a lot and most don't recognize him.

You got some good pictures. I took my camera down there but I forgot to take some pictures. WHOOPS. I always do that!
I had a blast getting to spend time with you guys though. It went by WAY too fast. Thank you so much for working around our schedule...it was crazy, but it meant a lot to me to have you guys come down there. I'm glad Brody got to spend some time with you guys too.
PS. We still have an open basement THanksgiving weekend. Don't be afraid to drive up.
