{Thanks}giving

I love Thanksgiving. We had a great one at Danica and Cody's. I didn't get my camera out in time to take a picture of the feast but we sure had a wonderful one. It was delicious. Danica laid out a beautiful spread and we pigged out. Wow. I'm always amazed how fast I can get full before I have ever had a chance to taste everthing that I want to taste. I have so many things to be thankful for. I have the best husband, kids, and parents, and family that I could have ever asked for. They are such a blessing in my life and bring me such happiness. This is one of my favorite times of year when we take time to realize what we're thankful for and then to celebrate Christmas and the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. What a beautiful time. It makes it easier to forget about all the "stuff" going on in the country and world that we aren't that happy about.
I did take a couple of pictures while we were in Glendale of my beautiful daughter. Cody and I happened to be in the picture! haha

I always have put my tree up on Thanksgiving weekend but didn't get it done this year. So last night we got busy and put it up, one day short of the Thanksgiving weekend. So that's close enough, isn't it??? Pictures just don't do this justice but my tree is so pretty. I love it.
Then I have a collection of nativity sets. So far I have only put two of them up but they are two of my favorite ones. I'll post more pictures of my nativities later so you get an idea of how many I have. I love to collect them but I've quit buying new ones because I don't have any more room to set them up.

Merry Christmas, everyone! 23 days early....

Your right Danica is beautiful. She is a good comvination of her mom and dad. So glad you enjoyed your weekend. Crystal always puts her tree up the day after Thanksgiving too but instead they did "Black Friday". She did get it up though. I feel the same way about the Holidays as you. And that tree is GEORGOUS! I love the silver!

Thanks for giving us a view of Cody and Danica. It seems like we haven't seen them in years. With their internet being down, we don't get the normal updates either. Sounds like you had a great time. The holidays are the best!!!

I need to get my tree up too! I need to start my collection of Christmas Decor. I loved how we always took down our regular decorations and our whole house was decked out in Red, Green, and Gold...or that one year it was pink.
Christmas was always so much fun when I was younger. It's definatley the best time of the year. Remember how you would play Christmas songs on the Piano. They were just printed off and had colorful construction paper on the back. "Cowboy Christmas" was one of our favorite! :)
Looks like you had such a fun Thanksgiving. I really wish I could have been there. See you at Christmas. I'm excited.
