True meaning...

I found this video link on another family member's website and it really moved me so I felt I wanted to share it. When you watch it, be sure and click on the little box next to the speaker in the bottom right hand corner to view this full screen. If you have speakers to hear the music, it is extra special. It plays to one of my favorite hymns, "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing."

The following testimonies were given as part of the video. The pictures were taken in various locations in Arizona which the photographer felt resembled places where Jesus once walked in the holy land. The testimonies truly do inspire me and help me remember the real meaning of this season of the year. I love Christmas and I love my Savior and so glad that we get to celebrate and remember him. I hope to remember him each day and live my life as a reflection of the things he taught while he was here.

"So as we contemplate Christ, as we read the scriptures and study his life through imagery and through the spirit and through the divine bestowal of the Holy Ghost, we learn of Him, we are strengthened in our conviction that He is our Savior, that He is the one who atoned for the sins of all of us, and that He is indeed the living Christ." (Brother Peterson)

"My invitation is for people to think about Jesus, to think about His humble life but then step back and think about the ascended Christ, the resurrected Christ, the One that still looks at us and the One that still pleads for us, the One that will plead for us in the end. He is amazingly graceful. We put all we can do into it, but after that, it is totally his grace that is the source of our salvation." (Mark Mabry)

"He has opened the way whereby we may gain not only immortality but also eternal life." Gordon B. Hinckley

"Each of us is an innkeeper and we decide if there is room for Jesus." Neal A. Maxwell

...I hope that we will all make room in our hearts and lives for Jesus.
